Ghosthorse

Deep in the recesses of your mind
lies the consensus trance that you own our lands
The threat to that insecurity is a spiritual
consciousness of man-made laws becoming
irrelevant.

Possessive thoughts are a vanity Mother Earth
cannot anymore afford.

We are the humans who have become human
beings
Those who deny our presence are swept away
like the nuclear dust they admire.

Against the odds we have survived the illusion
It has become our legacy unheard

We have resisted the apologetic predator.
We have survived those who have eaten the dust
and bones of our ancestors.

In the silence of your world I know you.

We are here.

Longtime Musicians And Indigenous Artists
Release Highly Anticipated
Recordings/CD/Album: Ghosthorse
"Ksa"(pronounced with a soft k'-sah) is one
of the most promising movement-inducing
sounds of this time. This debut CD
establishes an organic-global Indigenous
fusion of musical form. Some have called it
Indigenous jazz-fusion blues and others
have simply called it spirit music.
GHOSTHORSE a vortex in the seas of world
music is based on ancient earth movements
re-emerging through contemporary music,
"ksa" may create a new genre altogether!
The muse, the myth, the manna.
Tiokasin Ghosthorse: flute maker/player,
speaker, activist; Charley Buckland:
multi-instrumentalist, composer, entity; Dan
Grigsby: drummer, engineer, producer,
recording magician Human Beings All
Ghosthorse, the band, is comprised of
musicians from many backgrounds and
places in time, bringing many hearts to the
Indigenous spirit within these songs. They
make up the many colors of these creations.
The songs have a constant universal flow all
pulled together by the traditional Lakota
cedar flutes, with appreciation for the
Creator.

Ghosthorse came today he brought back memory lane
The tribe we used to be  ... gave us vision to see

Ghosthorse came from South Dakota to NYC
He says South Dakota is diseased
He came to NYC to let you know
that destruction of mother earth has to break down

To teach you the Lakota language
there is no I in this language
He says take out the I and me and see
See without I there can’t be me
For us to see
Unity is the key
With love and peace
respect for all nations
free to be
